Aluminum-air batteries require of electrolytes based on imidazolium salts and aluminum chloride. It is necessary to develop electrolytes with high conductivity, low viscosity and low price. In our project we focus on the study of the effect of the structure of the imidazolium salt in the properties of the ionic-liquid and the performance of the battery.
